ABOUT JEANNE
I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Maryland since 2014 and received my education in the healing arts from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) in Laurel, Maryland. MUIH requires over 2,400 hours of combined clinical and classroom experience.
I am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University and previously worked in the Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview assisting my clients to return to the workforce.
I maintain a general practice addressing a wide range of physical issues including injury recovery, digestion, headaches, menstrual cycle regulation, and emotional balance.
I enjoy providing small group sessions in homes, workplaces and other community locations. These sessions include a treatment that detoxifies and harmonizes the body systems and emotions.
My clients often report physical and emotional relief as a result of treatment. I often recommend easily implemented practices to help clients optimize the benefits of their treatments, and I encourage their exploration of other modalities that, combined together, may help them feel their best.
I like to create an environment and treatment where my clients feel relaxed enough to reconnect with who they are and what they truly want for their lives - knowing that the connection between the mind and body makes all things possible.
And what I really love are books, nature, painting, delicious foods, wonderful conversations, and all my favorite animal friends.
